Talon website mockup on a Mac

Talon Manufacturing required a robust eCommerce transition to move away from a rigid, difficult-to-manage legacy platform. As a leader in their industry, they needed a WordPress-based solution that empowered their internal marketing team to take full control of their digital storefront. The objective was to showcase an extensive catalog of over 100 products while maintaining their exclusive wholesale-only business model.

The Challenge

01

The main hurdle was the complexity of Talon’s distribution model, which required a dual-purpose product system. We had to manage a massive inventory while differentiating between standard products and orderable samples, all while preventing direct retail sales. The existing site made basic updates nearly impossible, so the new architecture needed to be user-friendly for the client’s staff without losing the high-performance capabilities required for a 100+ product catalog.

The Solution

02

We migrated the entire store to WooCommerce using the Avada theme, providing the marketing team with an intuitive, visual editing experience. To support their wholesale model, we implemented a non-paying cart system specifically for sample requests, alongside a "Where to Buy" directory for standard products. The site was built with a mobile-responsive framework and a sleek flyout menu, ensuring that busy stockists could browse the full range and register for accounts effortlessly from any device.
